Remind students than Underwear is not outerwear. Challenge students to keep their underwear under wraps, including sagging, bagging' and thongs where they don't belong. Ask, what's the deal with their reveal?

Clothes Minded--Have a night when you discuss "what is appropriate clothing?" Now here's the deal. Plan on showing up wearing something that isn't appropriate-- a pair of pajamas. a wet suit, and old bride's maid dress. Ask teens if they find your clothing distracting. Discuss why some clothing is right for certain situations and other clothing is not.

Modesty talks can backfire. Some cultures might have different standards when it comes to clothing. Other teens might be sharing clothes with an unsaved guardian. Many will not know that there is anything wrong with what they wear. All in all, remind students that you want them to be noticed, not their clothing.

Tired of seeing more belly buttons in your youth center than bibles? You're not alone. Wearing your Sunday Best doesn't mean what it used to be. Frilly dresses have been replaced by spandex clothing that's tighter than a Hollywood face-lift . As skimpy as fashions are, clothing can get even skimpier in warm weather. So here's a few tips to get you through the bear belly season.

Conduct the Praise the Lord Test--this one's easy. Ask a teen to reach into the air and praise the Lord with her hands up high. If her belly is exposed, she has just flunked the test. That item of clothing will be unacceptable to wear at youth group functions.

Have extra T-shirts around--If a teen wears something that reveals more than it covers up, make sure you have something for them to put on. Keep a selection of T-shirts on hand during warm months, for teens to throw on if their attire is too skimpy.

Wardrobe Malfunctions--Have a night where you share stories about real-life wardrobe malfunctions: a ripped seam at a prom, a popped button on a date, loosing more than your cookies on a water park slide, etc. Discuss---what made those moments embarrassing? How were those revealing moments different--and the same--as some popular clothing today?
